About Aaron

Aaron Martens has been a professional bass angler for 13 years. He is 34 years old and currently resides in Leeds, AL. Aaron began his career at the age of 21 in the southern California professional bass circuits. He quickly became one of the top names in the west, winning over six professional events and claming three Angler of the Year titles.

In 1999 Aaron began competing within the BASS Tour on a national level. He is the winner of 3 BASS Invitational Events and he was the 2005 BASS Anger of the Year. Aaron has qualified for eight Bassmaster Classics and has finished in 2nd place in three of them. He also won a FLW Tour event in 2003. Recently, he claimed the title of the US Open Champion in both 2004 and 2005.

Aaron is known for his finesse fishing, but he excels at all techniques of fishing. His innovative ideas for using old baits in new ways has drawn attention from several national magazines and newspapers. Aaron is frequently featured on ESPN2 and has had several feature article stories in magazines such as Bassmaster Magazine and In Fisherman.

Aaron has been customizing available lures and producing some of his own since he was a teenager. He has seen room for improvement in some lures which are currently on the market, which is the sole reason he decided to enter into the tackle business. His goal is to not only produce American made, quality lures for himself, but for other anglers as well.
